Hi. I’m Lois. I’m a mom, friend, photographer, and avid student of social media. Do you remember the magic of childhood? When you could get lost for hours in imaginery worlds and time flew because you were having so much fun? I miss that. It’s so easy some days to get swallowed up by the responsibilities of life and forget how to play. In part, I rebranded my photography business as The Sparrow Stand because I wanted to be able to recapture that magic for myself and for my clients. That’s why my favorite shoots are life’s celebrations such as weddings and e-sessions. It’s also why in between client shoots, I love to dream up fantastical settings and grab my friends to join in the fun as models/actors, hair, and makeup talent. Some are professional. Others are amateur. But all are having fun as we play together. I hope that you will join me in learning how to play again. What fun ideas would you like to try at home?
